The study surveyed 712 hospitals, with 90% of hospital administrators stating that higher drug prices have a moderate to severe impact on hospital budgets. Payer reimbursements cannot keep up with price increases, resulting in increased hospital costs for patient care. It’s a big problem that’s having a big impact on healthcare costs and delivery of care.
