SPARx Patient Care Services Achieves Accreditation with URAC

Dublin, OH – Comprehensive Pharmacy Services, LLC (“CPS”), through its SPARxSM service offering, proudly announces its new accreditation through URAC for its Patient Care Services Center. Accreditation is a process through which healthcare organizations demonstrate their compliance with national standards. Accreditation by URAC reflects SPARx Patient Care Services’ dedication and commitment to meeting standards that facilitate a higher level of performance and patient care.

“We are proud to add a second accreditation through URAC to our accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) that SPARx received earlier this year,” said Larry Kobiska, Vice President of Patient Care Services. “Dual accreditation demonstrates SPARx’ commitment to excellence in patient care and speaks to our ability to gain access to limited distribution drugs and specialty payer networks for our specialty pharmacy partners.”

URAC is a Washington D.C.-based non-profit organization that helps promote healthcare quality through the accreditation of organizations involved in medical care services, as well as by offering education and measurement programs. Accreditation standards for URAC programs are developed by independent experts, relying on advisory committees of experts in health care delivery.
